An astute satire, alternately comic and poigant, follows the battles that never cease among husbands and wives, children and parents, lovers and neighbors.  A radio broadcasts the neighbors' conversations to the stunned ears of a young couple, an outwardly well-to-do man resorts to burglary to maintain his expensive lifestyle, a teenaged boy goes restaurant hopping with his tipsy father, an ex-football star disrupts a barbecue, scotch-swilling high society types are flummoxed by the real world.  A genuine theatrical gem.
